This is done by placing a single tape weft onto a thin section of hair, about an inch from the scalp, then sandwiching that section with a second weft on top, pressing firmly to create a secure bond. The process is repeated, working from the back of the head up, using a bricklaying pattern for a seamless blend, and is followed by a cut and style to blend the extensions with the natural hair.

Tape-in hair extensions are a popular semi-permanent method that uses a thin, medical-grade adhesive to attach hair wefts to your natural hair. They are designed for a wear time of approximately 4 to 6 weeks before requiring maintenance.

Tape-in extension removal involves applying a specialized remover to the tape, allowing it to break down the adhesive, and then gently separating the bonds. You should work in small, manageable sections, use a tool like a tail comb to help separate the tape, and avoid pulling, which can damage your natural hair. After the extensions are out, use a clarifying shampoo to remove any remaining residue from your hair.
